This piece is created from repurposed leather scraps collected from workshops around the country - materials my leather vendor rescues and makes available to artists at an affordable cost. I love working with these fragments. Their limited colors push my creativity in unexpected directions, and when a shade I’m dreaming of doesn’t exist, I paint white leather to create the exact color I need.

Each piece from this collection is inspired by my morning hikes, seeing the way nature shifts through the seasons - the changing light, the growing and fading plants, the small details that look different every time I return to the trail.

I’ve always been drawn to circles (my love for polka dots runs deep!), so these works are created on circular surfaces. The shape brings a playful, distinctive element to the collection and feels perfectly aligned with the spirit of exploration behind each piece.
